I have salted a bucket or two every year for a while now. I use it under my cage traps for coon bait, nice that it don't freeze and won't spoil in any weather. Need a picture of it? ~ADC~

I prefer chunks and salt. Salt is easier to obtain and works well in cold weather like ADC mentioned.

I have never used glycol or salt . I just freeze It , but I do like It ground. I like the looks of "LT greys" fish.

I don't want to sound stupid either but.....back to the salt, is it layered or brine water or.....? How much per bucket? Can you add as you catch or do you need a bucket full to seal all at once? Thanks. Rock salt/table salt?

I use rock salt, a layer of salt in the bottom, then a layer of fish (2" thick max for me), then continue layering until the bucket is full. Salt on top.
