would like to know or see some pics of how you beaver trappers snare under ice and how to drown them.
i have used 330s, but have a feeling i have a spot where there may be one or two educated ones.

i caught a mamma and a kit. and still had 330s out in one run. the smell of beaver was still very strong two days after, with nothing in the traps. just wondering if theres any more their with the strong smell still there.

also - i have seen a couple spots where they have a channel going into land, but not sure if theres any under ground den. top of land had fresh wood chips and a good trail along fallen timber. not much for a bubble trail going in, but how can i tell otherwise?

there will be more beaver there. You have them on edge, if you give them a couple months you could most likely take some more easily with baited conibears. The best under ice snaring technique Ive seen is in fha magazines. I think it works best in shallower waters. If you can locate the runs you can tie snares onto a pole and lower into the run. You will have to tie the snare ends off to heavy wire run up above the ice tied off.
