just made one this way. take a 6ft piece of pvc, put a plug in one end, take a end cap drill a hole large enough for the rubber plunger end to fit thru, slide the plunger thru from the inside, put the end cap on the pvc then put the rest of the syrenge on. all you have to do is take the end cap off, with the syrenge still attached, pull up you acetone, put the end cap back on, walk up to the skunk and with a slight push on the needle you are done. oh yea the plug needs to be sticking out about 1/4 of an inch and all i used was a wooden dowel and put a screw thru the pvc to hold it in place.
Advance confidently in the direction of your dreams and endeavor to live the life you have imagined.

I use an extendable paint pole and the aluminum syringe made for a pole (about $60). Best money a fella could spend on skunks. No dinkin around with plastic plunger stems and jerry rigged fittings.
I don't believe Tim carries them at MTP but he ordered me one from somewhere and had it drop shipped to me a long time ago. Look around they are out there, you won't regret it.

Ditto what Jerry stated. That's the same rig I use and it is money well spent. I use a light bulb changing pole from Harbor Freight. It telescopes down nice and compact and gives me a 20' reach. The places to "aim" for on a skunk. If they are looking head on at you..right in the notch where the neck meets the chest. If broadside...same place you would shoot a deer. It's important to use the right needle gauge and length for best results. 16g and 1" is best IMO.

Right where you would shoot a deer? From what I have seen that could be anywhere, depending on who's shooting. MJM

Hope this goes to the archives. I'm going to make on, as soon as I get a round tuit.
