Feilds, streams, ponds and lakes
Smells of pine,rain and musks of stink
Beavers, raccoons, fox, deer and little mink
To you these things the trapline yeilds
Up at three and and the door by four
Fur and meat we run for more
Walking, splashing and sometimes sinking too
Furshed and woodstove we look forward to
For all these things the trapline gives to us
