S started to subscribe to Fur Fish Game when I was about 10 or 12 year old As a very young kid maybe about 8 I enjoyed reading .And of course if it was about trapping or and hunting it was easy to get me to read And 50years later I tell anyone that will listen that by learning to enjoy reading at an early age made my world a better place to live

Stay away from USA Foxx & Furs. You'll never get your fur back. I lost a batch. They don't answer the phone. VM filled up. I have to file a small claims case.
Sleepy Creek, yeah, once in a while it's too thin. But at least I get back my fur.
Never tried Molies.

I found a complete deer skeleton wedged In the fork of a tree. And I found a pair of dogs caught In a fence one dog was still alive and I released It the other one was dead. Was headed out to do some duck It was way before light when we came onto a group of cars along side of the road. There was a really nice 8 point buck caught In the fence. There was no way that deer was going to get released with out some one getting hurt. So I strung my bow and shot It. Venison Is a lot better then duck. LOL

Yes, that's typical with all tans, you'll need to do some breaking again. It shouldn't get stiff like a dried raw skin, but it will get "boardy".

I bet they are on his front porch. It didn’t take but a day or two for mine to arrive and I trapped two about the same time. That is where mine ended up. Not in the mailbox.

In addition, volunteers get frustrated because they are giving a tremendous amount of their time and often money for a given venture and then someone who is doing nothing tells them how they should be doing more. After a while that gets very frustrating and the person often gets burned out and just quits doing anything. A prime example of this is how little league sports coaches are treated. spot on!

put a couple chopped up garlic cloves in a quart jar, a quarter of a chopped onion, some chopped jalapeno. Fill the jar with boiling hot apple cider vinegar. Let it cool a couple hours then put it in the fridge a few days. pour the vinegar into a sieve saving the vinegar. then pour the vinegar into a big pan. add 4 cups tomato sauce, 1 1/3 cup tomato paste 1 1/3 cup honey 1 cup unsulphered molasses 2 tsp salt 2tsp coarse pepper 2 tsp paprika 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp chili powder (if you want more kick add cayenne)
heat it slowly and simmer about 5 minutes while stirring.
I make it ahead of time and water bath can it for 20 minutes. You can use it after it cools from simmering though.

Yep I set this year out. Slowly prepping traps and sleds for next year though. Hoping to hit it hard Nov-Feb.
The wolves in unit 13 sure keep all of us on our toes never knowing when or if they will come back through.
