I am doing some ADC work for a new client here in north Idaho. I am trapping porcupines and looking for a good lure or bait for my live traps. Also anyone bailted one into a bucket set with 220 conibar? Thanks for any hot tips.

Andrew

I haven't tried it, but Porkie's ain't overbright, and board fencing to funnel them into the trap is supposed to work well too.

Could try something like this:

They seem to like pine trees better. In my area the porcupine population seems down as the Fisher population seems to have risen.

My brother trapped one using Wayne Derrick's Pecos Valley Cat Call. But that lure is really for fox/bobcat/coyote. laugh
