Notorious UCLA Vivisector Sent Sharp New Year's Gift
Poison-Coated Razor Blades Send a Strong 2009 Message to Primate
Killer Edythe London


Los Angeles, CA: The animal liberation group Justice Department
delivered a pointed message to notorious UCLA primate vivisector
Edythe London as the new year began. According to an anonymous
communique received by the North American Animal Liberation Press
Office, London was sent razor blades in a greeting card, coated with
blood and rat poison. London has been targeted before by animal
liberationists who oppose her addicting non-human primates to nicotine
and methamphetamines before killing them in her laboratory; her home
was flooded with a garden hose in October 2007 and an incendiary
device burned on her front porch in February of last year.

The current communiqué reads:
"A New Years greeting was sent to Mrs. Edythe London at xxxxx Edgeley
Place in Los Angeles California. Inside a greeting card were blood and
rat poisoned covered razor blades. Edythe, as long as you continue to
terrorize and murder monkeys for a living, you and your entire family
are in harms way. This is just the beginning. --Justice Department"

In related news, London's comrade in pain and killing, Arthur
Rosenbaum, who has himself felt the wrath of animal liberationists,
has ceased all experimentation on primates in an unequivocal victory
for the campaign against his cruel methods of gluing metal coils onto
the eyeballs of non-human primates. Although officially billed as
retirement, an inside source for the Press Office states Rosenbaum
made an informed choice to stop animal experimentation after
repeatedly being targeted by picketers and animal liberation
activists. The animals dying in his laboratory undoubtedly don't care
why he is ceasing his torturous exploits, just that he has indeed
stopped his atrocities.

Vivisection, or experimentation on animals, is not only an evil that
is perpetrated on millions of innocent animals, but is also
scientifically fraudulent. While 20,000 children worldwide die every
month from the effects of unclean water, vivisectors in University of
California laboratories are wasting money addicting primates to
crystal methamphetamines, gluing coils to the globes of their eyes and
doing other inhumane and painful experiments on other species of
animals, including cats, dogs, pigs, mice and birds. In a civilized
society, and with better alternatives to animal experimentation, US
academia should be on the fore-front of good, solid, non-animal-based
research that could save the lives of children and adults alike.
Instead, greedy "scientists" continue business as usual by mutilating
non-human animals; it seems that until they begin doing ethical and
scientifically-valid non-animal research, vivisectors will continue to
be a target for those who are moral, courageous and heroic.

Despite increased civil and criminal harassment by UCLA henchmen upon
lawful picketers, there is ample evidence to show that the
increasingly effective campaign to stop primate vivisection at UCLA is
continuing by both legal and illegal activities.

On Dec. 30th we decorated Jimmy Blackmans parents front porch at 7851
Kenyon Avenue in LA wth red paint and glued their locks. This action
was done to bring attention to the blood being spilled because of
their son Jimmy.

Obviously Samuel and Jing Ying haven't taught their son anything about
accountability and consequenses; so we thought we would.

As long as Mr Boks is head of the shelters, its not safe to be an
animal at the shelters and its not safe to be Jimmy or his family
members.

DAVIS, CA - Police at UC Davis are on high alert while they are
investigating a threat made on a controversial Web site targeting two
of the university's researchers.

According to UC Davis spokesman Andy Fell, the "Revolutionary Cells
Animal Liberation Brigade" posted on a Web site that they had sent
mail bombs to the UC Davis researchers late Saturday.

The researchers work at the California National Primate Research
Center, which conducts tests on primates to try and benefit human and
animal health. The center does studies on HIV/AIDS and other
infectious diseases, asthma, autism and Alzheimer's disease.

According to officials, the center has been the target of threats and
protests before.

"Such threats against our researchers are unacceptable, and we condemn
them in the strongest possible terms," said Stan Nosek, Vice
Chancellor for Administration at UC Davis.

The original threat was posted on www.indybay.org but has since been
taken down. So far, no suspicious packages have been found, but all
researchers, faculty and staff have been warned.

Group: We sent 2 bombs to UC Davis researchers

An animal rights group claimed in an Internet posting Saturday that it
had sent letter bombs to two UC Davis researchers. The researchers
work in the Primate Research Center.

The group, called Revolutionary Cells - Animal Liberation Brigade, was
reported to the Davis Police Department the same day, said Andy Fell,
a UCD spokesman.

UC Davis police are working with municipal police on the case. The two
researchers were notified Sunday morning.

No suspicious packages have been found, Fell said.

"We don't have any indication anything was actually sent," he said.

Staff have been advised to be careful when opening mail, and UC Davis
police have guidelines on their Web site on what to look for when
handling parcels or packages.

Anyone with information about the posting, any suspicious packages, or
any other threats is asked to call the UC Davis Police Department at
752-1727.

The RCALB styled after the leaderless Animal Liberation Front, gained
most of its notoriety in August 2003 when it used pipe bombs to attack
the office building of an Emeryville business doing work for an animal
testing company, according to information published by the San Jose
Mercury News. The group's last documented attack was a failed car bomb
attached to a van used by a UCLA researcher, according to the
Anti-Defamation League.

The RCALB is considered a terrorist organization by the FBI.

The Primate Research Center is one of eight facilities in the U.S.
funded by the National Institutes of Health, Fell stated in a press
release. Research at the center includes studies on HIV/AIDS and other
infectious diseases, asthma, autism and Alzheimer's Disease.
