Wait till the neighbor walks his dog down the sidewalk while you have a half skinned coyote hanging in the garage. They'll keep their dog in their yard from there on out. I usually keep the door down,but some days you just want to see sunlight.I'm a cabinet builder (laid-off) and use a drawknife about 75% of the time. Nothing IMO fleshes most things, faster, easier and costs less than a simple paring knife, curved "Sheep" Skinning knife and a sharpener of some sort.

I think Greasy coons are one of the only species that should be skinned cold.... The congealed fat is WAY easier to flesh off with a sharp knife and they are easier to hang on to when skinning.

yes it does in no time you will be skining in 10min and fleshing in 15min

It gets easier with time. This morning I watched my boy Zach skin and scrape his 150th coyote. Not 150 caught, 150 put up.
I think he is starting to come into it.
