YJ- I hope they make it over this way too. Like Otterman said, It's interesting how they are east and west of us, but not here. The bunnies seem to on the rise so hopefully the cats will show up.

I believe they will southpaw,...you might be an old man like me when they do though :)it was slow comming here and we still dont have them like the Tok guys do
and FYI...the moose season in Unit 18 is extended for residents of 18 till the end of Febuary...I got mine in Aug,but was able to get a permit for another...good thing ,I was getting low on meat smile...saw these calves Saterday...they are open as well...veal smile

OK guys I did walkabout on my property today with all good intent of setting some snares for fox. I waded thru knee deep snow (and now I want snowshoes) just to see what I could see. So, there's about a bazillion hare tracks... a couple dogs and NO fox.

I know there's a fox around because he walks around the FRONT area of the house and store on the paths. How do I convince him to go down in the woods? lol I can't see setting snares up front here, it's too open and too much of a chance of someone seeing it from the road... and isn't there a set amount away from the road you have to be?

So if I were to set a snare with a dead hare do you think it would attract him down there?
