Takotna, glad to see I'm not the only one to leave everything behind in such a manner smile

Nice Takotna, I guess a suspension comes in handy sometimes! LOL

Oh looking at it again, looks like maybe you were towing a sled...

Are those marten in coni's? They look really pale.

Also, looks like you found a good way to keep the big longsprings compressed, cool idea.

No sled Pittu, just human error unhooking something and not hooking it back up, no marten connis for me.

LOL! That's why I always lead and my trapping partner follows behind, he's forever picking up the crap flying out of my sled!

I'd go with the wolfers, that way they can be used for the big dogs if the situation arises...

I cant believe your admitting that but last year when I went out and I helped you clean up your guys' line, I did add a few traps and some lure to my own gear, lol

What is the real deal when it comes to driving to Alaska from the Lower 48 and having to go through Canada ? Does one need a passport ? The rules are changing all the time. What are the current and proposed regulations ?

Thanks!

I have read the articles on shipping firearms to Alaska, but what about ammo ? What's the best way to transport that ? 4000 rounds of Centerfire, rimfire and shotgun ammo is a lot to ship.

Getting kinda hammered here with snow the last couple days, got
about 18 inches of wet snow and still coming down. Usually don't get this much until mid december. Satellite signal has been down for two days, just got back on line. Had breakfast with pwfeenstra (very nice guy), when I left town he was headed for the airport. Weather lifted enough for takeing off, but looked marginal across the inlet. Hope he found a hole through it.
It's socked back in here now.
