Wow Andy, that is what I would consider "trap porn".

Hang them outside .Where the sun can hit them and warm them up and they will be plenty dry by the time season rolls around .

Soaking the traps in more coleman fuel takes the dip right off and then all you need to do is wire brush it a little bit. I use coleman fuel as a mix for my dip. I Dip it in and pull it right back out. I leave mine hang for about 2 weeks for coon traps and for k-9s it's more like 2 months before useing the traps. Dan

Dip doesn't take that long to dry if done at the proper time of year they are dry enough to set in a few hours. Heat and humidity play a major role in dry time. I still like to let traps hang a few days before putting them away. To all that hate those dipped traps just send them to me I'll gladly pay the shipping since they are ruined....

Here we go again with the big dip debate.I've been using speed dip for a lot of years. No problems. No digging,no this no that....no problems.Like JTrapper said...I'm not going to argue with anybody about it.But honestly,I've had no troubles with it whatsoever.

There are a lot of trappers who say they do have trouble and I believe them.I wonder if it's not connected to the soil type that trap in.
