Yea, you gotta kind of take it easy with them if you want them to turn out.
So far I caught 4 mediums, 1 small and this last one should be a large.
The marten also should grade out to a large.

Just baked the rabbits. They taste good so far.

Will have a good lunch tomorrow.

Wonder what the girls and chuckles will say when you are eating that in the multi?

Most of the girls are JV at Provincial's tomorrow.
And Chuckles will be as he normally is.

That's right, you picked a bad day to bring rabbit stew.

Kind of cool out tonight as well.

Put some more marten, fisher and weasel sets out today.
A couple mink sets at a running ditch aswell. Hopefully it's a good check next time out. Probably a dozen sets out for the fisher and marten now.

Going to go out tomorrow and add some weasel boxes, will check at the same time. Hoping for the best.
Going to take some Power Snares to I think, the coyote trails are crazy. Have also seen sign of lynx and timber wolf.

Not sure if it;s the picture but your marten looks a little wide and short. You may be loosing in length if the neck is too wide. What is your length measurement and width at the shoulders? It is a nice dark one alright.

Nose to Base of tail is 19"
Just over 4" (like 4 3/8") at the front shoulders.

I believe I probably could have gotten a little more length, but not enough to get it into the XL size. So I aimed to put it just into the large category.

If your marten board is 4 3\8 wide at the shoulder your board is too wide-It should be 3 at the shoulder and 3 3\4 at 24 in and 4 1\2 at 36 in(base)

OK, that board was purchased at NAFA in Winnipeg. I'll have to let them know. Thanks for letting me know.
