I'm doing a fox job on a peninsula in K-town. The fox have mange. And look what shows up this mornin! Glad it was staked good.
Hey scent freaks. I fueled my truck in my cowboy boots then set the trap that had rust on it from last year with my bare hands while the lady that had perfume on watched me. lol
Caught on a good curiosity lure from kattz called evanescence

That's great. I guess it sucks driving back and forth to south knox twice in a day though! Had you already gotten back home or were you still out working knox co?

lota bunny huggers feed fox in town here they are so domesticated all you have to do is figure out what brand of hot dogs they have been fed the rest is easy the yotes at the mall here are pretty much the same no gloves no lure just bait mostly dirt holes and cubbies

most of the fox here are pesky we have a lot of fox at the malls and shopping centers the yotes are at the "edge" of town the fox are in town trying to get away from them now and then pups make it to town and folks in town cannot believe yotes are in their back yards

It's funny what us "city" trappers can get away with. If I tried some of this with the country critters deep in the woods they would still be running. I've had fox sit and watch me make a set and then immediately get themselves caught as I walked away.

Warrior I am more careful with being clean when I'm trapping yotes in Northern Wisconsin and So Illinois than I am in Tennessee. I can get away with alot in east Tn!

My dislike for coyotes increases every year. This year they killed the adult male from a pair of $3000 trumpeter swans.

Coyotes in East Tennessee are definitely much stupider, than all the other coyotes in the country.Lol

Come on man give us a break.

There are smart ones and stupid ones everywhere you go....Just like people!

Wendell I never said all coyotes here are stupid. lol All I said is I can get away with more. Absolutely there are some yotes here that seem to have bought the book. East Tn is loaded with people and they have more human encounters here than they would in more remote places. That is just my thought. I may be wrong I have been wrong many times.

Heres a thought. Are coyotes smart at all? (Unless we educate them.) Could there cautious behavior at a set make them appear to be smart? Whether there from East Tennessee or not. Just a thought.
