Thanks for the great information on fine tuning the OOS. I fine tuned 6 OOS to
work with. Does the bridge have to be as high as the top of the tunnel? Someone said
the bridge should be 1 to 1-1/2 inches wide, is that right. Only set a couple of OOS
traps and yes, I left the safety catch on. Out season is coming to a close. I have a
friend that has mole in his field so I will practice there. Our soil is soft sand.
When dry it is like suger.
Thanks in advance
Ev.

Pack the trap down tight. With loose sand it will probably be a challenge with this trap. The mole will tend to try to go under the trap....and the upward pressure will spring the tap. Lets hope it is a nice fat one.

Bud, I got the 10 kits today, I put them on this evening. Will give them a try as soon
as I can. Have you ever thought of grinding down the top of the 90 degee angle on the trigger pan
so the dog will be at the bottom and have a shorter distance to travel to fire. I have file
a notch on the end of the dog, but that makes it flat and not round so it take more force
to fire.

all mole traps that I sell that have the kit are fully modified with the trigger rod tip is rounded so it takes a mere 1/16th of an inch before firing... I only charge $1.50 for installing the kits- plus the kit cost- and the trap cost.

Jordan, Are the traps you sell with the mod kit installed also rust proofed? I see the ones in your pic are but it doesnt say in the description of them... If so you may want to add that to the site info as it would be another selling point for sure!

the kits are 100% stainless steel, even the rivets. ( RUST FREE)
The traps are made in China, original Victor OOS. I had it in the works to have them made state side but are no way cost effective.
