Gotta have the passion and drive, never give up attitude. As Blackie said , Attitude, Aptitude , Altitude.
An open mind is imperative.
Common sense catches alot of fur.. Pay homage to all you harvest..

My brother has a knack for finding game, whether hunting, fishing or trapping.
That is how you put up big numbers.
The longliners read country and find the pockets of fur. Gotta have the passion and drive, never give up attitude.
As Blackie said , Attitude, Aptitude , Altitude.
An open mind is imperative. Possessing and putting to use these traits is what separates trappers from the legends trappers talk about. Good Stuff Fellas!

Thanks for all the responses. I honestly do not remember when I made this post originally. I think I was just curious. I am an advocate of instructions and taken some from very good trappers. I was surprised that did a number of private mails as well. Thanks to all that took time to answer.
A good friend said he thought he remembered me asking this question, and figured I was asking again. He had a minute to do some looking. Found out I posted this question in 2013! LOL Mac

Without a doubt, if one was seeking coyote trapping instruction, Robert would probibly be the best money spent around these days by far.......
If you are considering yourself to be someone of influence and importance, just try ordering someone elses dog around sometime.

Well I just talked to him awhile back and he had killed 400 head. And was way behind because of new CWD regulations.

you use to be able to pre bait and then set up the traps. But now you can't have any corn outside the trap.

I appreciate his commitment to coming to Minktoberfest this year. Guys who are willing to share are the reason trapping continues to exist. I've been impressed with his no nonsense style.
