Matt Duncan recently made a post about a company with the same name as his but he's in Canada and the other Duncan Wildlife is in the USA. He spent a long time on the phone because apparently the lady would not believe that she had the wrong company. He certainly had a legitimate complaint but what about me?

I sincerely thought that Advanced Wildlife Control was something that I dreamed up. My good friend Mike Page had named his company the same thing well before I did and there may be others. Jack Ammerman and I have adjoining columns in WCT magazine and we also share our company's name. I paid to have our name exclusive in Wisconsin put certainly not the rest of the nation. So just for kicks I looked up Advanced Wildlife Control on-line and these are the locations of companies with the same name.

You know Paul after the call this morning I tried to do the same thing and I can't find the company the lady was looking for , I'm going to try again though , I mean how many adc trappers have the last name Duncan lol

Paul, I had noticed there were several "Advanced Wildlife Control" companies a while back, but I just thought that you all were in some type of cooperative group together.

I thought I had come up with a brain storm when I named my business "Call of the Wild, Wildlife Services". How was I supposed to know there were 15 gazillion "Call of the Wild's" out there?

Eh. Done and got that name on my business cards, bill heads and the sign on the side of my truck. I ain't changing it now.
