ohbuyer II OP trapper Joined: May 2010 Posts: 247 Ohio	First two pics are where the mushrooms were found.5/4/2014 Picked over 400 in just this one spot and left a few hundred to grow until next weekend.Total harvest was over 12 lbs. Found this spot just by cutting through to get to another set of woods about 8 years ago. It always produces mushrooms a few weeks ahead of any other spot just due to being in direct sun. Pasadena trapper Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 2,628 Ohio, 55yrs old	That is awesome Tim. Does there happen to be any old apple trees around there? I found a spot similar to that a long time ago and there was one big old apple tree on a fence row and the mushrooms grew out in the field just like that.

ohbuyer II OP trapper Joined: May 2010 Posts: 247 Ohio	Pasadena,good call!!! first pic top right you can just see the dead apple tree branches against the sky line.If I would guess its a good 80 ft from the mushrooms. Also in the first pic, the woods to the left are wild cherry, ash and some elm. The blacks are just starting to come up.
