What areas should i be searching to find bloodroot, Like shady hills, etc...?
I got lucky on the first 2 patches but i have no clue where to look now,

It can pretty much grow anywhere. The largest patch I ever found was growing in the lime stone along some railroad tracks.Also found a large patch growing in tall grass in a right of way, no trees at all.

Universal plant shouldnt b to hard to find then...weight tally so far is 5lbs dry on 2 patches, maybe 6hrs of digging

What does it dry down like? How many wet pounds this time of year to yield 1 pound dry ?

I was told 7:1, but i never weighed it wet def had like a 5gal bucket 3/4 full of just wet root to get the weight i got
