Just wondering the exact way to do this with walnuts. Heard a few people talking about it and just trying to get some more info. How good is it?

I used it this fall.

Get some old black, mushy walnuts, put em in a panty hose (I'm sure Lynx will let you borrow some of his), mash em up a bit, and throw em in the pot.

Worked good for me.

I wax after I dye, so it locks in any smell if any anyway. But I'd imagine since they are a natural product, and are all around you, it shouldn't matter.

What would you recomend for the wax? Just trying to pick your mind a little bit. I have bought a few new traps and trying to figure on a new way to do them. Thanks

I don't dye. I only clean, boil, and wax I don't see the need to dye.

i dye as said above, and wax with your normal paraffin canning wax.add it to a clean pot and dip your traps in till they stop popping.
