Anybody been hearing any pre-season ginseng prices for this upcoming fall? Prices were VERY good last year, and just curious to see if anyone had heard if prices were going to rise/stabilize/fall for this upcoming year.

I doubt they will be much info until after season opens. hope the same thing don't happen to the seng market that happened to the fur market. It happened the last time seng was in the 1,000$ range.
The Chinese said they paid to much money the year it was so high and they lost money selling it during the year. My market never developed until dang near January and then I could only get about 400 for it. Things can go bad real easy when prices escalate to much.

There is no good place to find seng prices until season opens. Even once season opens nobody will know what root the ginseng market will travel. I buy seng and other off roots and my contacts in the seng business never tells me any price until at least the 1st week of september.
I hope it doesn't follow fur prices down the tubes. As you may know seng prices was in the 1000.00$ dollar range last year. Be very doubtful if it maintains that price structure. tune in right here once season starts and I will start posting prices for my typ of seng and lots of diggers will be posting prices they are getting in different parts of the country.
