I washed afew coyotes in the family washing machine when I first tried it out.It leaves alot of hair and bites of flesh/fat in the tub.My wife is also understanding,so much so I know not to ever do that again! That is why I have my own washing maching. Its easy any cheap to get a used one at a yard sale or in the newspaper.

You can find cheap or sometimes free washers & dryers in your area by looking at your local craiglists'. I kept one on the back porch a couple of years and washed clothes in it during the summer and water the lawn with the water.

Try fleshing the animals first. Also i never put more than 3 canines at a time in the washer and run on the gentle cycle. I never get more than a little fur and dont think I have ever gotten any flesh.

I find that if there are any burrs, etc. in the fur it is best to comb them out, wash the critter, skin, flesh, then turn pelt fur out and put on the spin cycle in washer. Then take out and stretch. I have escaped "detection" many times that way.
I also realize that the wife may not tell me when she uses my toothbrush to clean the toilet bowl...guess we're even! LOL
