No bears around here but that does not look like a bobcat track to me. Way to big and looks like you can see claw marks on the end of the toes. I took a big cat 35lbs and 44 inches from nose to base of tail and its track was much much smaller than that and show no claw in the tracks

Yes I use 2 traps. the log in the middle is a old drag log I used in previous years but to old and punky to use anymore. still laying there from years past but does serve as some guiding. Replaced it with a green log.

Nice pics you guys.

Here's a set that just caught a cat so there is no trap. But here was an exposed trap between my two pillars with stepping sticks on both sides of the trap. The set is located at the base of a long rim rock at the edge of an overhang. No cat sign at all, just a real catty looking area.

This is at a pinch point in a wash where two rock ledges enter the wash. Had to move some brush away from the rock and block off the wash so they have to go over my trap.

For both sets I have poly-fil and tin foil for a flag, a bobcat gland lure about a foot up on the rock and some skunky call about 6 feet above that.

Tracey, the pink boa is a little bit girly I admit. I have rabbit on it this year and starting to think pink is better cause I haven't made a catch yet.LOL here is the set yesterday.

Hey, if it works for you, keep using the pink stuff. Oh, and keep that white stuff too.
