Good info on skinning the feet out, I have always left the toes attached while skinning but will give your method a try it looks easier.

Today’s job tasks for work and self:

-rebuild skandic 550 engine. New crank, pistons and all seals
-rebuild bearcat 570 engine. New pistons and all seals
- repair my broken sled (boggan)
- replace tie rod boots on titan 800
- check kids snares
-haircuts for me and my boy
Cut and hang 2hindquarters for drymeat (I’ll have help with with this one)
- pack up caribou hunting gear for weekend trip.

Busy all the time. Thank you coffee for always being there. Lol

Nice rifle choice, though that CZ carbine would have been hard to pass up. Waiting on firearms and parts for them is excruciating.

I went with the T3x lite stainless in 223 with a vortex diamondback 3-9x40. Looking forward to using the new hunting tool.

Awesome rifle choice! One of my relatives really likes the tikka rifles. They are pretty accurate rifles. Hope you will get to get wolves and other game with it soon

I took the rest of the week off work so me and the kids are heading back to the camp in the morning. All packed up now so we just have to hook up the trailer and fuel up in the morning. Our Plan is to reset the whole line to finish the season soon and bring a moose home for drymeat. There’s a few moose out there it’s just a matter of seeing one. First daylight at one of the grassy lakes is our best bet.
