Im prototyping a ginseng/mushroom belt pouch. What do yall think?
It stays folded up on the belt till needed.

Unsnap a couple of snaps an there is a hands free bag at your side.

Currently the bag is 9"x 9" I am thinking a more useful size is 9" x 12". Im still working out the all the little odds and ends, and I figured Id source some opinions from here.

Very cool, the best way for me to find mushrooms is to leave my bag at home

its a good idea.....but a bag like that would do me no good...i'd fill it up rather quickly.

as far as for mushrooms, I prefer a mesh bag........it helps to allow the mushrooms breathe and distribute any spores .

It would also be to small for me. I have had many many times that I have dug no less than 5 pounds of green Ginseng and have had days that I have dug 10 pounds. As far as mushrooms, especially hens, I picked 3 times this fall and picked 10 pounds and up each time I was out. One day I had 30 pounds.

I LIKE IT. I agree it may be a bit small but if you are using it as a just in case bag I like it. I would be interested.
