What are they like canned I have never canned them. I either eat fresh or dry which is not great on them.

there ok travis.......kinda like the canned button mushrooms you buy at the store...best use in in soups and gravy......but I prefer eating them batterd and deep fried.

You are "askin 50 per pound". 50 what? dollars or cents.
The last I heard in Washington State the buyers were paying $5.00-$6.00 per pound. In the northwest they are usually a fall mushroom; after the fall rains start.
Imo there are a lot of other mushrooms that are much better eating than chantrelles, such as bears beard, matsutake, parasol (the orange staining variety), etc..

I'd never sold any before hence my question..hunted them for years, just seemed to be an abundance this season....my price was kinda based just searching the internet and seeing what they were going for. after getting a lot more info I did in fact find my asking price was pretty steep.....although everyone has there preferences......I think the chantelles batterd and deep fried are much better tasting and meatier than morels.
