Just got home from a town board meeting and needed to whip up something quick. Zim is having a bowl of leftover homemade chicken soup and I am resorting to one of my old favorite standbys ...

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Just READ that list of quality home style ingredients!

(I still love it!)
laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh

How is everyone tonight? What's on your table?

I think it would be better to eat the can instead of what was in it.

I cooked the lips off a neck roast...pulled it apart and dumped a bucket of bbq sauce in it. Just like pulled pork only different.

Haven't had that in years, but I can taste it now!

Tonight we had pan roasted wild duck breast with white cheddar cranberry grits.

Chef Boyardee is some good stuff! A little chopped onion or garlic thrown in the mix really sets it off.

I had some left over tuttu (caribou) soup. I'd take a picture but it's in my stomach grin

Yeah, Sharon! Love those O's!

Good idea to not read the can, Supergoose! What are the lips on a neck roast? Love pulled pork though!

And the award goes too ... Huntrap!!! Beautiful creation right there! grin Nice!

Wonderful, native Trapper!

Why thank you, Ridge Runner!

Price you are so lucky. All I had for dinner were some brussels sprouts and a couple of baked spuds.
With a side of Tbone steak.

Just means I cooked it for a looooooong time. Until it fell apart. I am not a big fan of the neck roast but it seemed like a good idea at the time.
Beats Corn Flakes anyway.

Scuba! just when I was getting out my violin, and then you pulled out that T-bone! Good for you!

Nessy, he may have just plated it nicely and kept the big cauldron full just out of the photo!

Thanks for the clarification there, Supergoose. I had a really bad picture going in my mind! I hope it was good!

Pancakes are a perfect choice for supper, Adam. Hope you're feeling better!

Ah, Scuba. We light the BBQ when it's 30 below! But that low 70's would be nice for just a minute or two ... grin

Nessmuck! Yeah! Beautiful!!! What a beautiful color too!

A classic combination, Yukonjeff! (Just kidding. Not classic, but it sure sounds great to me!) Chopsticks? Seriously? Or are you just messin' with me?

Carbs and chemicals here, White! HA! You made me Google pine float!!!

my girls are in the color guard for the marching band - and before home football games, we do a potluck meal for the band at the school. We do a theme usually, and day last year was soup. We had all kinds of great homemade soups, some where fantastic, even better than mamas. One of the parents had been very busy, but wanting to contribute, delivered a huge pot of the Chef's ravioli - the kids destroyed it. not a drop left, while most of the other soups were only eaten by the parents.

the Chef is doing something right - I've been known to eat a good bit in my days too

Now there's a good supper, Mad Mike!

Hey Don! Try this link:
http://www.chefboyardee.com/products/pizza-and-sauces/spaghetti-sauce-meat
It will bring up this page:

Click on "WHERE TO BUY" and then put in your zip code and see if local stores have it. I found it's at 3 stores near me. Good luck! Linda will be smiling!

Good one, Hern!

L1ranger, it might have to do with how they turbo charge the flavor with that pile of chemicals in there. Kinda like why fast food is so tasty. I just have to dive in once in a while myself! I'll admit I love it. laugh
