When will these twits ever learn that when you play with the bulls you better expect to get gored so it isn't the Bulls fault when your hanging on his hardware.

Los Angeles Animal Rights Activists Home Raided And Taken To Jail Need Support

PLEASE REPOST!!!!!!

Recently, two California activists were arrested after a raid on their
home by the Los Angeles Police Department. Laura Lungarelli & Kevin
Olliff have been in the custody of the LAPD since Thursday evening.
They were expecting arraignment yesterday (Monday) but it has been
postponed and they have been sent to housing facilities in the area.
Little is known about the situation. Only that they are facing serious
charges (Second Degree Felony Burglary) with bail set at $100,000 and
$165,000 respectively. The charges are not activist related but as
Peter Young suggested "We can always expect there is a political
vendetta behind non-political charges of activists, and that we can
never fully draw the line between what is an "activist related charge"
and what is not when long standing AR activists are charged with
non-AR charges. Lets not forget the charges against Rod Coronado for
possession of eagle feathers, the 18 month sentence for a UT activist
for giving incorrect information on a firearm purchase application,
and my multi-count felony indictment in 2005 for possession of a fake
ID."

One thing that can be certain, is that jail is an awful situation to
be in. We cannot be sure how long they will be in these locations, but
it would be both helpful and wise to write them today, in an effort to
show they are being supported by their friends, loved ones, and
community at large.

Laura (Maura) Lungarelli (She was accidentally booked as Maura)

Excuse me ,as I wipe away my tears>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Of Laughter. This is one member at large that isn't supporting them one tinny little bit and I bet I am within the larger portion of society that thinks it is behind BARS time for ALF/ELF folk.

This is what the self righteous Twits claim before they get caught and start whining about how bad the law treated them at arrest time.

Communiqué from ALF activists
Date: February 12, 2008
Institution targeted: Future Farmers of America

Received anonymously

In the early hours of Saturday, Feb. 9th 2008, three young goats were
liberated by the ALF from the Carpinteria High School FFA in
California. After cutting through one lock and one fence, we took them
from their small pens with concrete floors and carried them to
freedom. They were taken to a place where they will be able to live
their lives free from cages and fences, able to enjoy sunshine and
grass as opposed to steel bars and concrete floors. As we brought them
to their new home, they immediately stopped crying, began eating the
grass around them, and enjoyed their surroundings. They listened to us
and licked our faces as we soothed them before leaving the three of
them on their own. They will no longer be victims to animal
exploitation or slaughter for human greed.

The FFA is an organization that teaches kids from a young age how to
carry on the [Please excuse my language... I'm an idiot] up tradition of anthropocentrism, where they are
taught how to raise animals for exploitation, abuse, and eventually
murder. FFA is known for keeping animals in small, dirty, unkempt,
confined places where they lack nurturing and stimulating interaction
with other animals.

As long as the FFA continues to raise animals for the meat, dairy, or
egg industries, the ALF will continue to take actions against these
practices. -ALF

Communiqué from ALF activists
Date: February 10, 2008
Institution targeted: Mexican Poultry Company Bachoco

Received anonymously

In the early morning hours of February 8 in Mexico State, the Animal
Liberation Front - Commando Green Black (FLA-CVN) made another
appearance at one of the companies that most inspires our disgust and
hatred for the system in which we live, where machismo, fascism and
speciesism are the way of living in these times of death and
destruction.
Now the action that impelled us was to set fire to a Bachoco shop-- in
the shop the curtains and part of their walls turned totally black
from the FLA fire which was in response to their treatment of animals.
These actions are just the beginning, that we assure you.
FLA-CVN

note : Bachoco is Mexico's largest poultry company.

And when they get caught they will complain that the law is cruel and that they don't belong behind bars. What a bunch of senseless whiners.

PETA donated $40,000 to Rodeny Coronado's defense fund, Wayne Pacelle (HSUS) was a convicted felon and routinely works hand-in-hand with PETA. Matter of fact, many of the Board of Directors had, at one time, interchanged work serving on the board for the other. How the HSUS can carry any legal/political weight is beyond me.

The more I catch, the poorer I get.

Reason I spend so much time digging for this stuff and relaying it is because an informed public will turn on those terrorists. Thus as the info gets out PETA & HSUS will be exposed for having such people on their boards.

I wonder how happy it would make those tummy stickers if they knew the three goats that they freed were killed by a mountain lion soon after. F@&$.

They hit Oregon especially hard. We have Portland, Corvallis, and Eugene to give them sanctuary. They burn lumber company offices, car dealers, wild horse corrals, and hit mink farms on a regular basis. Remember Tres Arrow? He almost got elected to Portland city council.

Darn. We should all help protect the environment.I'm doing my part by helping to eliminate the greenhouse gases created by animal manure. I'm eating more cows.

Aahhhhhhhhh the timeless bondage of perfection........

First you see yourself as above the masses in your astute and sensible understanding of the nature of the planet. Then you use warfare against those who are not as intelligent as you are.
Welcome to Athens, Rome, Egypt, Bagdad etc etc etc........

SOS different millennium.

I don't understand why these people irritate you so much, they are just being human thats all. It's never going to stop, ever.

When they cause enough trouble they will be labeled and dealt with. I say let them have it, the sooner the better.

Maybe we will get lucky and the blundering govt will pull another waco on them......

 Quote:
February 12, 2002, Washington DC: FBI testimony before the House Ecoterror Hearing. "Domestic terrorism is the unlawful use, or threatened use, of violence by a group or individual based and operating entirely within the United States (or its territories) without foreign direction, committed against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives...During the past several years, special interest extremism, as characterized by the Animal Liberation Front (ALF) and the Earth Liberation Front (ELF), has emerged as a serious terrorist threat. The FBI estimates that the ALF/ELF have committed more than 600 criminal acts in the United States since 1996, resulting in damages in excess of 43 million dollars."

Remember the arson at the University of Washington?

21 May 2001 - "Arson"

The Center for Urban Horticulture at the University of Washington was burned down in Seattle, WA. Total estimated damage was estimated at $ 5.6 million.

There's a woman on trial now for involvement in it, I hope she gets convicted. The morons chose to burn down this building, which was being used to breed rare and endangered plants native to Washington state, like the Pacific Yew, and they were destroyed in the fire.

They've re-built and dedicated the new building, and it looks like soon 1 more of the crooks are going to prison. \:\)

It just so happens I am following the court proceedings for University of Washington burning in press clippings. The lawyers have them turning over on each other like snakes in a pit.

Seattle Times
Witness tells of "panic" during 2001 arson at UW
By Hal Bernton
Seattle Times staff reporter
February 15, 2008
http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2004183715_uwarson15m.html

TACOMA — A participant in the 2001 University of Washington arson
attack testified in U.S. District Court Thursday about a sabotage
effort filled with tense moments, including the getaway sedan
sideswiping a parked car.

"It was slight contact, but it felt huge to me," said Lacey
Phillabaum, in the first public testimony about the events surrounding
the arson attack. "... There was panic."

Phillabaum, a Spokane native, is a key prosecution witness in the
trial of Briana Waters, 32, accused of being part of a five-person
Earth Liberation Front team that caused more than $1.5 million in
damages to the UW's Center for Urban Horticulture.

Waters is a former student at The Evergreen State College who now
lives in Oakland, Calif., where she teaches music and plays violin in
a band.

Defense attorneys have said Waters was nowhere near the UW in the
predawn hours of May 21, 2001. She has pleaded not guilty to federal
charges that could result in a mandatory sentence of 35 years.

Phillabaum testified that Waters attended several planning meetings in
early May and helped lease the sedan that took the team from Olympia
to Seattle.

Phillabaum said Waters also served as a lookout while others broke
into the building and set two incendiary devices fashioned out of
alarm clocks, water bladders filled with fuel and other items.

In a plea agreement that will likely result in a three- to five-year
prison sentence, Phillabaum has pledged cooperation with federal
prosecutors. She has already begun serving time.

Phillabaum said cooperation has been "excruciating," and that she has
"a lot of sympathy" for Waters and others indicted in what the Justice
Department has portrayed as a wide-ranging conspiracy that carried out
more than a dozen acts of arson and sabotage.

Phillabaum, a former University of Oregon student and writer for
several publications, said group members had at one time vowed never
to turn one another in. But Phillabaum felt "like the truth was going
to come out and didn't want to spend 35 years in prison."

Phillabaum gave these details in her testimony:

Beginning in 2000 the group held a series of five meetings in
different states that were a mix of philosophical talk about the need
for direct action mixed with hands-on training on how to solder wires
for incendiary devices.

These meetings were organized by Bill "Avalon" Rodgers, a key figure
in the underground who committed suicide in an Arizona jail after
being taken into custody there.

Despite some division over the strategy, the group eventually chose to
target the office of UW professor Toby Bradshaw, who they mistakenly
believed was genetically engineering poplar trees.

The UW arson, which destroyed valuable research, was planned as part
of a double hit that included burning buildings at a poplar-tree farm
in Oregon.

Phillabaum recalls driving in early May to Olympia for a series of
weekend meetings that took place at a Denny's on The Evergreen State
College campus and in an outbuilding behind what she believed to be
the home of Waters.

During one discussion, Jennifer Kolar, another participant in the
arson, wanted to reduce the amount of fuel to try to confine the
spread of the blaze.

But Rodgers pressed for using more fuel to make sure fire
extinguishers couldn't put out the blaze. He won out in that debate,
Phillabaum said.

The blaze would later destroy the building and its contents, including
rare plants and a wide range of scientific work that had nothing to do
with Bradshaw's poplar research.

Phillabaum said she was unnerved by a bike parked outside the UW
building as they prepared their break-in. Rodgers assured her the
building was empty.

Phillabaum also was surprised by the contents of a plastic tub that
Rodgers passed out of the building. She opened the lid to find snakes,
creatures Rodgers did not want harmed.

Phillabaum said Waters kept watch in the bushes with a radio to relay
any security threats.

After the incendiary devices were set, everyone piled into the leased
car. Phillabaum said she wanted to just leave the area, unnerved by
the car accident. But Rodgers wanted to park nearby and pick up the
chatter of first responders on a scanner.

"I remember a firefighter trying to decide whether to continue
fighting from the roof," Phillabaum said. "It was terrifying to hear
him in this dangerous situation."

But Rodgers had a different reaction. "Avalon [Rodgers] seemed
excited," Phillabaum said.

Phillabaum is scheduled to resume her testimony this morning, with the
defense scheduled to cross-examine her.

These people are terrorists, pure and simple. Surprisingly, a judge in Eugene Or. felt the same way when she sentenced some of them a few months ago.
