I would like to do a few ADC jobs on the side, one client asked about insurance, which I don't have, so they turned me down.
Where would be a good place to get liability insurance for trapping?

Bob & Sons Ins. 260-726-3718. Have to be a member if NWCOA to get from Jim Pace. Bob treats us well.

Snow and Bell, like Jim said, Jim Pace wants you to be a nwcoa member to get insurance through him, so 250.00 per year plus another 600.00 to 650.00, just to get insured when you can save that and go with Snow and Bell.

Wow. So because it happened to someone else, your insurance premiums increased 475%? That doesn't seem right (fair) at all!

It would be foolish to even think about operating a business without any liability insurance. It's a good way to have someone else living in your house

Sorry to say Scott but with the messed up world we live in I think
It's the opposite, the person who is working at someone's house that doesn't
Have insurance and gets hurt will sue the owner of the house for whatever
There lawyer can sue for! So make sure to have homeowners insurance lol
Crazy sue happy world we are living in!

Bob and Sons sells Liberty Mutual workmans comp.(at least in my states IN and IL) Same as Jim Pace if that is who you are using now. When I switched the policy stayed the same, just signed something to switch the agency.

The only two insurance companies that have been actively pursuing our business that I have ever seen has been Christian/Baker with Jim Pace and West Bend Mutual Insurance with Bob & Sons. With Christian/Baker you will need to belong to NWCOA. With West Bend Mutual you can also get Workman's Comp. On the bright side, a very small percentage of your insurance premiums to West Bend Mutual is used to pay me for trapping animals on their property. I was up there yesterday for skunks. Either one of these companies has an excellent reputation and you can't go wrong with either. We are very fortunate.

I just found out that Bob and Sons is soon to be licensed in Minnesota. I was very pleased with my quote. Just waiting for him to receive his license to receive the policy. Just an FYI for anyone else in MN looking to be insured.

I contacted them on Facebook yesterday, they do not provide coverage for Washington State. Anyone have any good alternatives? Thanks!
