Michigan Trappin OP trapper M Joined: May 2014 Posts: 4,828 Southwest Michigan	Got another call for one of those pesky beavers under the shed Sure wish them shed beavers would start cutting more trees so I can charge the same as I do for water beavers Every day is a gift from GOD, don't waste it!! If they have plenty of food, give them something interesting to smell

It will really throw them off when they see the beaver up in a tree. Just tell them it must have been going to eat it from the top down. LOL

My parents lived in another town 150 miles away from me but needed help with a wildlife problem. Mom called a local nuisance guy explaining that she thought a beaver was eating her shrubbery. Only hitch was mom and dad live quite a ways from any water source. Nuisance guy asked mom why she thought it was a beaver and she explained that I was a trapper/nuisance guy and had caught many beavers while still living at home. He then inspected the yard, saying he thought the animal causing the damage was a groundhog and set a cage trap in the yard. One morning while checking traps in early morning darkness the nuisance trapper spotted a beaver crossing the yard dragging part of a shrub into a dry storm drain. He caught the beaver and then had the city come open the top of the drain to find a large nest of sticks at the bottom of the drain. Tom Walters
