I recently purchased several jump traps. Some have a Victor pan and there is #2 twist link chain. Others have Blake & Lamb pans and double link chain. So I'm curious to know if they have been modified at some time, or are they original?
Here's one of each, side by side. The smaller has the Victor pan, the larger has Blake & Lamb 4.

This one has a 6" jaw spread.

This one has a 7" jaw spread.

In my opinion, the twist link chain is not factory original.

The twin-loop chain on the B&L could be factory if it is a newer B&L, which were made by ATCo for B&L. This would be 1967 or newer.

Thanks Wissmiss! They're good user traps. I just wanted to know a little something about them.
