We are looking for a full-time Wildlife Technician in the Columbus Ohio Metro area. Office is in Delaware Ohio.
Working independently, accepting/following direction, and following company policies are required. Compassionately listening to customer concerns: resolving wildlife conflict issues: maintaining a high degree of professionalism: working irregular hours, including weekends; ability to lift 50 lbs; working at heights; comfortable working with raccoons, skunks, bats and other wildlife.
High School Diploma or equivalent; clean driving record; ability to pass the Ohio Division of Wildlife, Nuisance Wild Animal Control Operators Certification within 30 days of hiring; problem-solving skills; safety-oriented; able to pass a drug screening test; able to overcome interpersonal conflicts; desire to communicate and educate clients about wildlife issues and market additional services that complement the resolution of wildlife conflicts.
Additional Qualifications that would be of benefit:
Trapping experience; sales training; experience in pest control; and experience in building trades.
Overtime is typical for this position. Wages based on qualifications and experience.
