I have been fooling around with a dozen no-mole traps in my yard for most of the spring and part of the summer. I am having some success but am still learning how to find most active tunnels. I was considering trying some of the trapline traps that I hear so much about. And was curious if I would need the standard or large size. Some moles I have caught are big some are little. I'm more concerned with fitting them in the tunnels. I usually hafto work on the tunnel just to fit my no-mole traps without snapping them when I slide them in.

Any info would be appreciated.

Zac

The standard size trapline traps would be best for the size of the moles and the tunnels they make in the East. Sizing the tunnel to accept the trap is key to consistent success besides selecting the most used runs.

I ordered the "large size" trapline mole traps for here in Michigan... I now have 6 dozen of them and have had zero problems. Successfully trapping the heck out of them...

Those are great traps. Been using the OOS for years now and started w/ the TMT this year and I'm doing well with them. Jamesons mole tunnel pilot is key for me. It just works great.

The standard size trap works well for eastern , star nose, and hairy tail moles. I use my fingers to open up the hole for the trap line traps and either fingers or the trowel back for no Mol.
