I bought a 1 1/2, 2, 3 and 4 today at yard sale. They have never been used and still have some factory shine. The 1.5 and 2 have Step in on the pans . Three and four just have those numbers on the pan we're these all made that way at the same time. I think the guy bought them all together back then.

Yes, probably all made at about a he same. That is a nice matched set. Might want to keep them just the way they are, rather than using them.

I have a 1986 Montgomery catalog that shows pictures of all 4 traps that you purchased and in those pictures the traps were marked exactly as you described. Monty was NOT consistent over the years how traps were marked and generally they added Step In to traps in later years because it seemed to help with sales however, in 1986 at least, the largest two sizes were pictured without that name. The 1986 catalog is the last that I have and Montgomery did not remain in business much longer. The latest document that I have from Monty is dated Jan 1988.
