The other day a guy had his 2 sons fishing up in our pond. One of the boys hooked and landed a 23 inch largemouth on a nightcrawler. That's a pretty big fish for our pond.

I'm in, I'm just going to post pictures for fun and not really play for prizes if that's ok. I might go for cats later today so I will see how that turns out.

Well went out for a little while, then got bored and started playing around by some muskrat dens, I ended up with 2 big catfish, and around ten bullheads I only took pictures of one big and one small. (I would have of the other big one too, but he slipped out of my hands)

Yea that one was pretty small, but I have caught bullheads as big as the channel cat in that pond.(I think they may have crossbread with the channel cats)

I'm not part of the competition but yesterday I really nailed the chubs, shiners and bluegills in our stream. I had close to 30 when I lost count. They were hitting a little white Mr Twister. None of my fish had any size. They don't grow that big in the stream. My biggest went about 7 inches. Most were just 3 or 4 inches. On ultra light tackle their a lot of fun.

I like fishin in the creeks here where we have chubs bullhead and bluegill. They dont ever have size but you can catch about 100 in an hour. Sounds like what you do i just rigged up a ice fishin pole to try it.

I use a 4 1/2 foot Fenwick rod with a Shimano Stradic spinning reel. It works fairly well in tight quarters.
