I just got my KO extreme jrs from Kendall today and I think I've found my favorite coyote trap. I have a few of the extremes and they are great but a little heavy. I can't wait to get them in the ground. If anyone has been thinking of getting some, I would definitely recommend these. Thanks again Kendall

I'm with ya! I got 1 doz 1.5's, 1 doz DP's, 1/2 doz Extremes and 1/2 doz Jr's. Can't wait to put them to use! If you don't have any, I recommend their 1.5's. they are the best I've ever put my hands on. I haven't had them in the ground yet, but I don't believe I will ever buy a 1.5 from any other company.

Kendall really put a lot of thought in designing his traps, (probably had a little help). One of the tricks he come up with is the little bead of weld on the lever to keep the jaws flat. So simple and effective. Starting to do it to my bridgers.

Which traps have the bead on the levers? All his footholds? I never noticed them. Guess I'm gonna have to go look.

The reg ones. I bought them at the fta. Can post a pic if your traps don't have them.

This could be done to almost any coil spring trap. If you do it yourself and get to big of weld just grind or file off to where you want it. The weld just pushes the levers down a little farther so the jaws lie flat. Genius I tell ya! Thanks Kendall

The heat treated levers on both traps is what got me looking. I ran 1 dozen Extremes last season, no problems. I'm picking up a dozen JRs at the NTA. I love the total design of both.

I think you need to look again. The K9 Extremes are $205 and the Jrs are $200 per doz and then add shipping.

Around $200 per dozen. Pick them up at a convention and save on shipping. According to their catalog they are attending about 18 this year. Getting mine at NYS Convention..

I bet he's losing money at $32 to ship a dozen of them heavy traps to NY. If fact I'm sure of it. I ship lighter skinning machines than a dozen of these and no matter the method from IA to NY is $30 or more. I'm sure if you bought several dozen and called and talked to him he'd not charge $32 for every dozen in shipping.

I'm glad you do, Kendall! I know I saved a TON buying from the Escanaba convention vs. having you ship them to me!
