Coon size cage traps with dirt covering floor baited with cat food has worked when I could blend the cage trap in.

The mom or dad brought a chicken to them two days ago. But they are staying in the buildings. I had a cage set and they took the bait and left there calling card by the trap.Today they left it alone.I had the bait wired down but no takers. I think they are hunting on there own.Last year the pair only had 2. This year she had 5, one died but 4 still causing problems. It's the mess in the buildings that my boss want's gone.

I've had decent luck setting double door cages(ie advanced traps/comstock) over the holes and making excluder traps out of junk farm store traps to harass the pups until momma decides to relocate the pups.

Got back to work wed. set a large cage trap out side and got 2 young fox. In the warehouse i got 2 coon. The larger trap was better for the fox.

At least 12" wide and 16" tall or taller depending on trap seems to be best.

I just recently made a trap specifically for red fox for a wco. It was 14 x19 x42. He was setting to catch chicken killers from what I understand. He said he has caught quite a few including and 80lb dog. He was using cages because of area. From what I understand. I don,t know whether it was a baited set or a trail set.
