I'm a full time dad, kids, sports, and what ever else my wife throws in the mix. Along with that, construction on the side when I have time, LEO, Wildlife Control, bait & lure. If you want it, go for it. The only one who could determine your drive and the ability to handle the schedule is you. Have to be a go getter in this industry.

Scenario......(which never happened to me, but I now guys it happened to) Doing a bat job, while inspecting for the poo in the attic, you mis-step and fall thru the ceiling onto the bedroom dresser, and break a Ping Dynasty vase......Can you cover the cost out of pocket? THAT cost his insurance $25k.
...another guy fell thru ceiling and onto chair in Man Cave, which bounced him into a gun cabinet, requiring 8 gun stocks needing refinished/restored/repaired....
THIS, is why insurance is wise.
We never know when an accident can occur.
It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.
PS--it could have been Zing or Ling or ?????? Dynasty vase, I can't remember.

That would be a "Ming Dynasty" vase, some of the most beautiful pottery works in all of China's history and can fetch prices into the millions. A $25,000.00 Ming Dynasty piece is at the low end of the price spectrum.

I do know it was a "lower end" vase that was broken. Thanx
