John Graham and crew put on a heck of a convention. An amazing lineup of demos and speakers. Boddicker, Gergerson and Krause just to throw a few names around. Add in Les Johnson, Boone Liane, the cat guys from Nevada (suddenly can't remember their names) and Petska on grading coyote fur and it was quite a day. Must have been 100 at the banquet tonight (steak and baked potato) with a giant pile of raffle prizes and a fur fashion show to top it off.

Joel Blakeslee and Bill Ilchik did the cat demo. When they were done I bet half the folks in the crowd came up and studied and took pictures of their walk thru set.

Dick Hane also did a very good presentation. I got to sit and listen to him and Major Bodicker tell stories from the old days for a while on Friday, now that was entertaining.

It was a great weekend.

Thanks to everyone that attended and for the praise. I do appreciate it, and I will relay it to all the great help I had.

Like has already been mentioned, we had a great lineup of demos, and I heard nothing but good about them. We figured there was over 450 years of experience there, and they shared it.

And, just as importantly, there was a LOT of good trappers there in the crowd, and I saw plenty of them visiting and exchanging ideas with other trappers. Lots of new friendships were made throughout the weekend I'm sure.

The vendors were top notch, and very easy to work with and take care of. I think we had a very well-rounded selection for people to choose from, and there was everything from new traps to very pretty custom made log lamps and Predator Quest hoodies to buy.

The fur fashion show was a huge hit, and the time put into making the music, the models, and the timing of it all was well worth it to me. I got a great photo of my wife, Nicole, wearing my Mom's Red Fox coat too.

We had four grills going and smoking to get 112 steaks cooks at KIND OF the same time, and I wish everyone could have seen the side show that was happening out there, it was very entertaining to say the least.

The Wyoming Association did well too. We got several new members signed up, and plenty of renewals too. People were enthusiastic, optimistic and appreciative. we considered it a huge success. Thanks to all that attended!

Great convention! Met a bunch of great people and had the chance to catch up with some others. Awesome demos, good food and great conversations. Bought some awesome coyote stretchers from coloradocat. I really enjoyed it.
