kickingbird, I was trying to be nice! Buck and I tussled pretty good but I must never have pushed just the right button. Maybe he got an assistant editorship on the climate change journal and just doesn't have anymore free time...

I doubt Buck would trust an internship to play pen with wild climate change recordings! We all look at it!

I'm done with this place, anyway. Bunch of drunken dorks, welfare queens, disability scam artists, and wife moochers playing trapper is about all that is left here. The good ones are getting fewer and fewer.

Agreed. He is an intelligent man and sourced his comments and views faster and more on point than any I have seen here.
He often makes me stop and rethink, which brings a touch of humility to my mindset.
Trappers are and always have been nearly the smallest conglomeration of outdoor soles out there. Sad to me some find glee in one leaving.
i do hope he returns.

I liked that comment also, helped me hit the first step, admitting I might have a wife mooching problem. She encourages me to trap and hunt all the time, I just didn't realize it was a bad thing until he led me to the light.

Although, that is my interpretation, I'm not sure what a wife moocher really is. I personally like everyone, it takes all types to make the world go round I suppose.

The reason so many people dislike him is because he was so good at proving they had no clue what they were talking about, lol.

Not saying I won't miss his viewpoint although it was not always how a lot of folks viewed it. He enjoyed playing devils advocate and I am sure he will be back. He probably is lurking right now. LLL

I would say that he is as decent a man as any one of us would be.He did have his own humble thoughts about subjects. He could most always prove what he argues about.
I proved him wrong one time, but I never threw wit back in his face. I never even said anything about it to him. It was when they had the melt down of the Nuke plant in Japan.
