So, I spent the last couple days drinking, I mean fishing. Lets just say that there were more fish in the river this week than there were last year... or two...

We landed 3 coho, 1 king and about 50 beers in less than 2 days. It wasn't like it was 4 or 5 years ago, but it is looking good. We had many more hook up each.

BTW, we start at 0600 and stop at 2200. That mostly covers our fishing. Some of us are just more dedicated than others (bigsmilleyface, causeIdontknowhowtodoit). But some of us get up at 0400 to start.

Looking like it will be a good year. I look forward to seeing many fish landed... Tight lines to all!

I was up in Altmar this past weekend and a group of us are doing a lake trip this Saturady. The guides in the area are stating its the best they have seen in years. Anyway, if you run up and need a place to stay let me know. You can look at my place under fishandrideny.com
It helps pay the plowing and taxes.

Fish On!!!

I've been traveling the past two weeks but when I get home, I'm packing my waders and gear and gonna get me some steel head action. Thanks for the update guys, and the predictions from last year were right from what I've heard so far. Fish On!!

Have not fished there in years, did most of my salmon fishing at Oak Orchard & loved fishing the Piers at night.

Man I have not fished there since like 1982 back then you could snag them with a weighted treble hook.I keep saying I am going to make the trip but I am only lying to myself.
