Here are a couple beavers with the kids before school. The one was pretty small but the first one we ever caught in a foothold so the kids were pumped.

So great to get the kids involved. My 4 year old got out once or twice with me this year. Itís a tough line as far as walking goes and itís been much colder than usual. Heís already excited for next year

Nice job guys. Apparently the full moon did me in. 2 refusals at cables, 1 cable somehow got walked under/around, 3 traps were walked by but not investigated. Red fox tracks everywhere.

Thats what happens when you trap in corn fields.
That one on the right weighed 39lbs , the one in the middle was 32 including the old cable he chewed threw and the one on the left was 29lbs.

I love setting up these cables, just wish you could use slides so they don't destroy your set.

I got a nice male coyote yesterday. Should've had more. Had a few sets worked over hard. Crazy tracks on every property yesterday

I haven't had much time to get on here this year. This is our season, with 3 nights left. I know it's not much, but we only had 7 traps out, and half of them were useless under the snow. I have a better appreciation for hay sets after this season LOL.

I enjoyed looking at all your successful sets.
