I just bought some new Bridger 159s. There's like 4 inches of swing in the triggers. How do I tune them? Thanks

Chainsaw file the groove on the dog until the dog rest on top of the trigger.

No luck gents. There's 6-8" of swing on the triggers. I contacted Minnesota trap products who apparently bought the Bridger name. They told me to hammer the trigger bracket down to fire faster. What crap. Not happy at all! Any other ideas ?

Put a belisle trigger on it.
Or sell them and buy a properly designed trap.

Do the mod I've posted. Gently mashing the trigger yoke. Takes out the play and makes it a 4 way trigger.

I used a hammer and a vise. I think a pair of visegrips set to the space you want would give you consistent results.

Thanks all Got a consistent crimp w the vice grips. Still had to adjust the trigger yoke almost 1/4" to fire correctly. Unbelievable
