Rainy, Cold and Cloudy here in NW Iowa. Hopefully clears out next week.

How's it going in your area?

My 2 year old loves anything to do with the Tractor or Combine!

Nap Time too!

So slow I haven't even got started yet. It's been rain rain rain and more rain for the last 10 days. Just when it's juuuuuuust about ready to go, we get rain again. I should be done with beans by now and moving into corn.

Got an early start. Then waited a week for rest of beans to get ready. Ran a day, rain set in and haven't moved for a week. Gonna be a long one. Trap season starts November 10. Be close

We're starting early beans tomorrow and start putting wheat in the ground next week. Really dry here and hot

What are yield expectations in your area of IA? We had a very delayed planting season here along the lake in our heavy red clay with cool and wet weather until mid-July.
With our hot September we are going to have a crop but not a great crop for sure.

That's pretty cool right there, everything's pretty much out of the fields down here by the end of august. Pretty much just cotton, milo, and corn is all that's grown around here. Nothin but empty fields now

SW WI here...spoke to neighbor, said his been yields are down about 15%, not good with prices! corn is not drying due to wet cold. a lot of chopping been happening but picking is a ways off

Our bean yields have been very good so far, hope the corn is decent too.

In NC corn comes off first with beans later. We can double beans behind wheat.

That have going full speed here.Rain last week slowed them down now.
Most of the beans are out and a lot of the corn. With the low prices on corn I think most farmers were letting
the corn stay in the field to dry better.
One guy I know got 240 ba on corn.
