I tried a couple of promising formulas in the field this past year, but the experts, the canines, said they didn't care that much for it. So, this year I'm offering Dave Edward's best selling lure as the promotional lure. I formulated his Cherry Red from the formula in one of his journals. With any canine lure order I receive, I will enclose a free one ounce bottle of Cherry Red. This includes Backbreaker, since it is used for canines, and it will also include an order with Bait Solution in it.

Just placed my order of Backbreaker. May have added coon candy but still count right? Ha ha

Thanks for doing promotions like this Paul, you make some darn fine lures!

Yes sir, the Backbreaker qualifies you. Thanks for the compliment.

Reckon I ordered the 2 jars of Skunky Backbreaker a week or two too early! LOL

Good luck with the promo Paul!

The problem was that I couldn't offer it until it was ready. Was there much odor to the box of skunky Backbreaker? I pack it in dirt hoping it will contain the odor. Most times it does a pretty good job, but occasionally a box will have an odor to it.

I have a drop or two of YOUR Cherry Red from 2012 or 2013 on this deal. That caught a fox nearly every hole I put it on. Wish you would run that as a regular.

Nah, that wasn't my Cherry Red. It was the same Cherry Red from Dave Edwards that I'm doing this time. I ran this same promotional deal back then.

I can’t speak for insanelupus but the skunky Backbreaker I recently received had absolutely no odor to the package. I think I might need to order some more so I can get the promotional lure.

Sorry, but I need to keep the promotion as is. Its a very good lure, and folks would soon run me out of it if I offered special purchases of larger quantities. If I made another batch now, it wouldn't be ready until after trapping season.

I thought it smelled fine, but the post office labeled it "oderous" and the wife said she could smell it.

I used the dirt as backing and call lure after I opened it!

I write ODOROUS on the box to let the post office folks know that it may stink. They might be less likely to think something is broken or rotting inside.

Let me know how the dirt as backing works out. I hadn't thought of that.

Just sent my order. Needed some more skunky Backbreaker. Can't wait to try the promo lure too.

It will go until I run out of the batch of Cherry Red. I've given out about a third of the batch so far.

Submitted my order! I’m looking forward to trying the Cherry Red lure.

Along with the canine select and all call lures!

Paul, the skunk dirt worked fine. I had set the pan back a little cause of a few shy coyotes and missed him, but the set was worked.

Good thing I had a turd set doctored with a little of your Coyote #1 nearby. 27.5 lb. Male, biggest this season. I love it when a plan comes together!
