You're not kidding! We just bought 2 last month - a King size Sealy Emily Grace Pillowtop mattress ($1,700 w/ foundation/box spring) & a Serta Queen mattress (forget which model - expensive also but can't remember exactly what it was). Love them both. Mattress Warehouse had the best price on them & you can lay on 75?+ different styles of mattresses all adjacent to each other. Having that many to choose from & lay on is the key. We had been shopping at a few other stores but only having a handful to lay on & compare sucks.

My wife and I bought a memory foam mattress on line from a company called Casper. I believe it was around $800 with their mattress platform and everything else. Weíve been very happy with it. They are a reputable company, and have a pretty robust return policy and warranty. We like it enough to recommend to others, especially for what we saved over a retail name brand mattress.

Yea on the sleep number. Itís alright ...my wife sleeps on her side so she likes a really soft one so her shoulder doesnít hurt. I like it firm and a sleep number is about the only way I know of to each be able to set how firm you want it. I still wake up sore but I have never found a mattress I didnít. Ours is a little noisy getting in but since they are seperate air chambers you donít feel each other moving.

Ambien! Take half of one before bed and lay the other half by sink in case you wake up and can't go back to sleep. You can sleep on the floor with these!

The wife and I both have one been really happy with them. Every once in a while my lower back will give me fits and being able to adjust the bed helps a lot for getting comfortable.

Go with the sleep number. You will not be sorry later. You can sleep how you want it and the other half can sleep there way. The prices are nuts search around we got a king from QVC that was over a thousand less then what the store had. Look at QVS web site and see what they have and compare the price.

You fellas need to check out Tuft and Needle. Reputable and great customer service - ships to your door in a box and contends against all the well known high end mattresses smile. King runs around 700.

Good sleep is important! Recently bought mattress $1000. At Mattress One. OMG. Sleep like a very old Baby!

Like most of you old timers, I have slept in the mud, dirt, rocks, back seats, truck seats, old girl friends old beds, you name it. Nothing like a good bed.
