Hi

I am a Norwegian hunter and trapper who traps marten and beaver. This is something I've been doing for almost 15 years. For daily work, I work as railway welder. I hunt and trap mostly in the county of Telemark, but I also have some autotraplines in the counties of Buskerud and Vestfold.

My favorite trap for martens is Belisle 120sx in box. I also like Kania Model 2000. For beaver I use Belisle 330sx. (it is the only fella that is lawful for beaver in Norway)

I am a member of Norwegian trappers association

Very interesting! Tell us more about the trapping in Norway? What species can you trap there. Is there a fur market in your country, and what are the prices like? Also, what traps can you use, and are your trapping legislations, relaxed or very restrictive

Boco and Belisle, I always thought railroad workers had the best job for checking out new territories....riding the rails through some ground no one would/could ever know about...untouched by humans for the most part.

True,a lot of the nuisance beaver on the RR is inaccessible except by rail.
