Well, take my advice for a grain of salt, because I've only caught 1 and it was a small one. But, need something visual to get them close, then
need something strong in cold weather. Powder River Cat Call, Gusto, Feline Fix, etc.

Location is the most important part of it.There are many good cat lures out there, here's a few i've had good luck with:Andy Weisers Super Cat,Waterline Call,Fox Hollow's GH 2,Voo Doo,Caven's V7,Jim Halseth Montana Lynx Call any good beaver castor and mink glands smells are excellent for bobcats.Hope this helps are are plenty more good one also, but location is the most important in cat trapping.

Rick is dead on. Location is definitely your most important factor. I caught most of my cats so far on weiser horsemeat predator bait and Mark June's lure, and Montana long call. Good luck

I see JC Connor's bobcat lure nor Wayne Derrick's wasn't mentioned....also some fine stuff. This time of the year I use more bobcat lures/urines on my coyote line....great change up!

Here in PA avg home range is 6sq mi for females and 16 for males. So it just depends when there coming thru your area. And not gonna just walk by!!! Like they been doin lately.

I had a set dead square on track sign and scat. Set was there for 2 weeks with no action. I had to pull it because I was leaving town. The tracks were huge. I’m pretty bummed about that one.

Set the trap where you think the cat would step without lure and add some lure for the fun of it. Jamison's make a couple good cat lures and GH2
