I need to ask Ya'll for some praying.

My daughter gave birth on 12-31-17 to a pair of twins. Trouble is they are 11 weeks early. So far they are both holding their own, even getting a little stronger. They have had a few bouts or days they weren't so good. Today they are doing well except they can't seem to be able to keep any real food, breast milk, down. That is the next step according to the folks at the hospital.

If Ya'll are so inclined say something to the Man upstairs that he sees fit to get them heading down the right path. A word or two for Mom and Dad wouldn't hurt either, they are having a time of it.

P.S. My SIL, the girls Daddy, is also battling a kidney stone the past few days.

This hits close to home. I have twin girls that were born 12 weeks early and weighed in at 2lbs and spent there first 10 weeks in Iowa City at University of Iowa hospital, that was almost 16 years ago. IL trapper I will pray for those babies and I will say that those docs and nurses out there are awesome. The first year was not easy but then it got lot better. I love having twins.

Our daughter was 5 weeks early,for the first 6 months she couldn’t hold any food in,even lost weight,when she started on cereal she finally was able to gain weight ,now 15 months later she is a chubby thing .Prayers sent as I was in the same boat

When my son was born in 1977, he had trouble keeping food down. You could actually pour it out of him. Doctor said not to worry. His sphinter muscle in his esophagus was not fully developed. Doctor was right. It finally devoloped in a few months. Maybe this is a developmental problem for your very young twins.

IT, prayers headed your way. Keep the faith, like others here, our youngest daughter was born 10 weeks early, 2# and a few ounces. She too had trouble keeping food down. 2 surgeries, 2 bouts of infection......after 4 months ++ in the NICU we were finally able to bring her home at 6#. As you know the lungs are major concern. The medical staff can do wonders these days with "preemies". It's a total rollercoaster ride of emotions.
Keep the faith and again, prayers for all involved.
BTW our preemie will be 10 in a couple weeks and you'd never know how rough a start she started with, what a blessing she is.
