Very nice! That kind of wood would probably burn a hole right thru my shop stove. That is good ash. I can ship you some in flat rate boxes.........postage due!
I have nothing clever to put here.

What were you hauling the log arch with? Polaris Ranger. I can pull 3-5 trees at a time with it. Nice little gadget to have around the ranch. The skid is almost 3/4 of a mile but that is where the timber is that I needed to cut.

Posco, they are similar but mine actually lifts the log when you pull ahead. I am not sure if you can see the green wheel in the picture but you choke the log and as you pull ahead the green wheel runs up the rail to the top. Get where you are going and back up and it drops the log. No lifting or winches or anything.
Cat trapping closed yesterday here and we scored a big, fat ZIP. Admittedly, we didn't try very hard and the time for it was hard to come by. As it is I am sure the tanning bill is going to be $300 so that is enough!

Mine does the same thing but a ring slides up the bar where yours uses the wheel. Nice contraption. I put a lot of effort into cat trapping this winter, too. From the sign on the snow I had a couple of close calls but came up empty.
