Yeah, that castor average should have added about $10 per beaver to what the hatter market paid for the pelts.

How do those prices compare to a year ago. It appears Taxidermy items are up a little, fur items are about the same as last year, and a few items didn't even have any interest and did not sell for the asking levels, like rats and otter. This sale is not a good indicator and the march sale in Finland will be better. Keep your Polar Bears in the freezer, the market for them stinks.

Last jan sale coyotes were $56 for western and $25 for eastern averages. Jim
